Founded in 2021, Paperound is the first digital marketplace dedicated to opening up work opportunities exclusively for UK students by connecting them with SMEs for digital projects.
Working with student-led groups and partner universities, the aim of Paperound’s research is to help understand some of the key issues affecting the UK student talent population, and support businesses, universities and public bodies by looking at effective ways of unlocking potential in today’s emerging talent.
Recent reports have stated how young people have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic, and the job market continues to shift quickly demanding more ‘ready-to-go digital skills’ with skilled students that can bring digital value to businesses.

We hope this survey will help students express their voices and pick out key data to help us understand how to support the jobs market for emerging talent. We also aim to learn which aspects of working life need more focus, support, and change.”
